Filter humming?

My filter is humming/popping. It’s NOT air bubbles trapped inside, because it can make that sound while it’s making this sound. I have looked everywhere and can not find anything about this. It is a Zoo Med TC-32 and it just started making this noise last night. I’ve tried everything and I’m just sick of this. Here’s the sound it’s making:

Hard to make out, it it's possible the impeller broke. How long have you had it and have you ever disassembled it?

I think I’ve had it for around 1.5 years. If by disassemble, you mean open up and clean it, yes. I’ve done it several times and pretty recently actually.

I would take a look to make sure it's intact and seated correctly. Zoo Med isn't the most durable brand out there.
