I purchased a sun sun circulation / wave maker a while back from ebay. It's a 1600 gph pump and pushes a lot of water. It cost half of what an maxi jet costs and I have had 2 maxi jet pumps fail in that last 2 years. I like the suction cup mount of the sun sun also. It has a lever that sucks it down tight. My turtles constantly knocked off the maxi jet to the bottom of the tank but they can't budge the sun sun. It's price is $11.35 with free shipping. For that price it's a great pump if it lasts longer than a year. Time will tell but so far so good.

Yea Steve it's in the stock tank. I mounted it and my heater to strips of plexiglass and mounted the plexiglass at the top with a stainless steel screw.

Turtles are great! Pumps suction cups failed to hold any longer so I hard mounted it. But the pump itself is holding up pretty well. Will have to see how long it lasts. I will try to find you a number.

Yea, suction cups don't last long in water. I think clear ones last a little longer, but not by much.

Do you guys have these Rubbermaid stock tanks in your homes or outside?

Mine is in my home. Basement.

I used to use one on a 2nd floor when I first had to separate my RES. Now its outside and my RES don't like to use it.
