I feel like an idiot , for last year and a half, my water heater has been doing jack squat i though it i just had to plug it in and poof, but today i found out how to get it working, so i wanted to know if top-fin submersible aquarium heaters were "good"

if it is , i need a thermometer so would a top-fin Glass Thermometer do the job well

I think their heaters are average but the thermometer should be fine.

TopFin is the Petsmart store brand. The glass on the heater and thermometer are fairly thin. The heaters work, but if your turtle likes to bang into the heater or chomp on it... you may want to add a heater guard or swap it out for another brand.

Thankfully he doesnt , but i heard when it reaches the temperature desired the light would turn off, i have had this heater for a good while nd its never turned the light off

Maybe not enough watts.
