How can I design this?
Posted: Fri Jul 06, 2012 10:38 pmOk instead of getting a power head I'm going to go a different route. I'd like to get a seperate pump, tubing, UV sterilizer, and a pre-filter sponge setup. The one thing I'd like to do is find a way to inject air into the outflow. I've seen this done with submersible power heads before. How would I do it on here? Here's what I wanna use:
The hole idea behind the setup is I will have both the XP3 out flow and the out flow for this on the right side of the tank. Then both pickups on the left side. This should give me a really good turnover then without creating a large current.
Also does anyone know of a generic canister filter accessory kit? I.E....
Something like that just cheaper???
