I was wondering if anyone knows if this filter works for a red eared slider tank, I am having my doubts as I have not seen anyone talk about this filter, and it isn´t mentioned on any post and I am unable to get any review. So if someone knows if this filter is appropriate please don´t hesitate to post on this thread.

The filter´s box says:
Completely submersible motor
physical and biological filtration
Adjustable hanger and suction cups to fit any aquarium
Extendable filter cartridge
Additional Bio-Ball filtration
Ideal for fresh and sea water aquarium

watts= 14watts
Volts= 120V~60 Hz
L x Hr= 1050

I know that one is not enough for the size of the tank, but I am interested in knowing if the filter itself can do a good job in a tank with a red eared slider.

Thanks in advance

I can only find one link on the internet here: http://www.acuariusmty.com/4955/31982.html . It doesn't look like a very good filter as it doesn't appear to have much capacity for bio media or even enough flow rate.

See this thread for our suggested filter sizings: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=30145

Thanks, How does a good filter look like?, I mean, how do I identify a good flow rate? for the time being the tank isn´t very big, and I know that the filter is a little small, but in case I am having difficulties finding a good filter, do you think this one can help or do I wait to see if I can get something better?

A lot of thanks again.
