Is this filter good enough for a 20 gallon tank? I am currently using an aquaclear brand H.O.T filter, but i do not think it does a fantastic job, so i was thinking of adding this filter into the tank. Its something like the ReptoFilter which cost 50 bucks here in Singapore, but its black in color and the good part is that I got it from a guy on craigslist at 10 bucks :D

couldn't hurt to add more filtration. It doesn't look like it has much in the way of bio media... looks like a carbon bag. Perhaps you could setup your aquaclear up with as much bio media as you can fit in there and the tetra easycrystal can do your chemical (carbon) filtration. Both filters will do some part of the mechanical filtration.
