Hello everyone. So, I've always used a regular incandescent bulb for heat, however, they keep burning out. I'm wondering if reptile basking bulbs last longer.

Opinions?

I use out door style halogen lights, they cost about $7 and last about 4 months before they need to be replaced.

Thanks guys. I bought one from the petstore. I already forgot the brand. There was a lady there shopping for basking bulbs for her snake and she told me they last her a good amount of time. I installed it yesterday and it heats up nicely, I guess we'll see how long it lasts!
