Various accessories and equipment discussed here.

So when I got my tank, it came with an Eheim 2213/2215/2217 I think, I'll have to check the exact model, but it looks the same as the pictures online. I want to sell it on Craigslist, it has good looking media in it (gravel, ceramic rings, two filter pads) as well as hoses. I think the guy said it's 2-3 years old.

Obviously I can't use it for the 90 gallon, it won't keep a turtle mess out as well as my Rena will (hopefully I won't need to replace).

I want to sell it, Big Al's has a new one for around $85 after shipping. I was thinking about starting out at $50 or $40. Does that sound reasonable?

I would list it as $50 because most people will probably offer less like $40 and then you get your asking price but yea $40 sounds like a good price to me.

You'll probably get a bit more for it if you post it on eBay. But the listing on Craigslist will be quick and free...

Sounds like a plan, it's the 2217, fairly powerful for a fish filter. I'll probably try for more and come down in price if I don't get it, it's not like I have a timeline!

What about a 40 gallon breeder All Glass brand tank? It's in mostly good condition. I have a lady who was fond of it when I gave her my mice for adoption, she has about a dozen mice now, so it would make a great female colony tank. I was going to sell it to her for $40 but if she doesn't want it, I was thinking about posting it for $50 on Craiglist? I know the $1/gallon sale goes on at Petco, but their brand tanks are more flimsy than this one, and I paid about $100 for this 2.5 years ago.

tanks by themselves on craiglist are usually a little more than their gallons, so your saying 50$ which i think is a fair price as long as it holds water

I sorta agree. 50 is a fair price, though if you can throw in extras, you'll get more bites.
