I just cleaned it out yesterday and when I started it up today, it started leaking, and i noticed it was leaking where the power cord is. The water is just dripping from that. What would cause this?

I've had this filter for about 2 1/2 years now.

Are you sure it's not coming from the top? Did you have to force the clips to latch the top on at all?

Yeah it was weird it was leaking from the cord area. I got it to stop my taking off the top and stoping the filter for a few hours but it was weird how it just leaked that way.

i got something similar to that when i washed my xp3.

to get it out i think your gonna have to unscrew that part. because i did it before and there was water in there. not much but there was water

but i don't think you should do that. i think thats how its suppose to be

When I get water in the motor case, I just flip and rotate it around a few times until most of it drains out.

Alright, thank for the suggestions.

I took the screws out and got all the water out and now its working fine. This has never happened before in the 3 years that i've had the filter, so its really weird how this just occurrred all of the sudden.
