I have found a few bulbs that seem to be good but not sure what to get. Is there such thing as an all in on bulb that will provide everything i need for my turtles?

Here are the bulbs i have been looking at:

2.) http://www.petco.com/Shop/Product.aspx?sku=1153633&pd=recentlyviewedproduct

The first one is an "all-in-one" bulb. I'm using an 100w one and it's doing fine. The only problem is that you'll need a dome style lamp to hold it.

Something like that.
1 Mississippi Map Turtle 3.25'' (Landslide)
1 Ouachita Map Turtle 4.0'' (Hurricane)
The rest of the turtles have been adopted to good homes. :)

is yours exactly that size? You'll need a 10" dome for a MVB.

Make sure the bulb hangs completely vertically, not at an angle.

Make sure it also has a ceramic socket to support the heat.

What I have right now is the Flunker's Dome. Make your light look down vertically, not at an angle and make sure you have it at least 1 feet away from your turtle's basking area. Also, if possible make sure you turtle has options to where it want to bask, like sometimes it's too hot under the bulb so it can move more to the side where it still get the UV rays and get less heat.

thank you for the advice. I am going to invest in one of these once i make my ATBA. First i am buying a heater. Slowly but surely my tank is coming together. Should have it complete in the next 2 weeks.
