Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can try to fix my Fluval FX5?

It does not seem to be running as hard as it should.

it seems to have statrted losing some when I didn't clean it for a while and then I cleaned it (propeller and all) and it still seems slo. It is still under warranty so if I can't fix it I will send it back.

Bra-sel - When checking on pumps the four things you have to watch for is suction, discharge, impeller and power. I all checks out you may want to reevaluate your media which is probably on the suction side of the pump.

Have you checked the tubings? They can get clogged with crud.

It was a little slack in the tube. I cut the tube another 6-8 inches and its working better than ever.
