they seem very pricey, any model u guys would recommend.??

nopes... i have the tetrafauna turtle heater up to 30 gallons.

Chin-boy - Yes, I have one. It does a good job with one issue. It is a 250 watt and it is too long. I have to put it in at an angle with the controls out of the water. You have to work with the thermostat a little, but is stays where I set it. m.
