mu-ly -- Good luck getting one for $80.00 or less. Just make sure you get one that pumps five the volume per hour that is in the tank. I have a 29 gallon with a Marineland 350 magnum which is a little over done but it works great. The discharge hose makes a little swirl but does a great job.

Mu-ly I purchased it about 10 years ago and the price is a littl blurry with time. I think it was about $140.00 at that time. Just a guess! It has a lot of media area which you can mix and match as you please.

Mu-ly - You will need to clean the poo out regularly and change the water when it gets cloudy. It can get a little tiring at times.

mu-ly - I use a Siphon hose for cleaning tanks. It is cheap and does a good job.

I just bought the Magnum 350 on sale at Petco for $137.00...I really don't like to spend money at Petco (because at my local Petco the reptiles are kept in horrible conditions) but it was almost $50 cheaper than it was at Petsmart...I'll be running it on a 100 gallon tank along with a small internal filter...I realize this may not be powerful enough but I really don't mind the water changes.
