Hi! I'd like to buy a new filter for my 60 litres tank. I went to the shops and I found these filters. Which one should I chose?Have you used any of them or have you heard anything about them?

The filters I found are:
1. Eheim aquaball 2210
2.Rena Filstar iV2 (40-75L)
3.Rena Filstar iV4 (75-200L)
4. Rena SuperClean 60
5. Rena SuperClean 90
6.Blumodular 01
7. Blumodular 02
8. Hydor Crystal filter 1 (40-90 L)
9. Hydor Crystal filter 2 (80-150 L)

Some of the above filters are for more litres than my tank, but i read that for turtles because they're a little messy, there's no problem.(I'm not sure although).
So,any opinions, thoughts or advice are appreciated!Thank you! :D

Do they have any canister filters at the shop? Or are they all internal ones like those?

Yes they have, but I don't have enough space for an external filter..That's why I'm looking for a good internal filter..

I tried searching them but most of the sites are in french. Do any of them have a biological load? If so I'd go for the one with the highest flow rate.

Thank you for your time and your responses.
From what I remember all of them say that the have mechanical-biological and chemical water clarification.

So you say that I should chose one with biological load.I'll go and search them again for sure.

As for the flow rate :

1. Eheim aquaball 2210 -> 550 litres per hour

6.Blumodular 01 -> 900 litres per hour
7. Blumodular 02 -> 900 litres per hour
8. Hydor Crystal filter 1 (40-90 L) -> 450 litres per hour
9. Hydor Crystal filter 2 (80-150 L) -> 650 litres per hour

The other ones I think they're about 400-500 litres per hour.

The Blumodular has the highest flow rate, but I haven't heard this brand before..And the prices of the Blumodular are about the same with the Eheim and the Rena (which I think are two very well-known brands).. Have you heard of Blumodular before?

And I have another question. If, for example, I'll decide to buy one of the Hydor filters, which one should I choose? The first one is for a 40-90L tank, and the second is for a 80-150 L tank. And my tank is 60L. Will the second one be too much powerful for my tank and my turtle? Or it'll be ok because the turtles are a little messy?:roll:

To help you for helping me decide ( :P ) I've found these techical characteristics:

For the blumodular:

(the Blumodular 01 is too small from what I saw, probably is not right for the job..)
For the Eheim 2210:

and

For the Hydor:

For the Rena Filstar:

an-ie The water exchange should be, at least, 5 time the water volumn you have in your tank. The ease of cleaning, noise, space and cost should be secondary.

By the water exchange you mean the flow rate?

Aha..I get it.So, as for the flow rate all of them are ok. My tank is 60L so the flow rate must be at least 300L/h.

As for my other question.. "If, for example, I'll decide to buy one of the Hydor filters, which one should I choose? The first one is for a 40-90L tank, and the second is for a 80-150 L tank. And my tank is 60L. Will the second one be too much powerful for my tank and my turtle? Or it'll be ok because the turtles are a little messy?Rolling Eyes"

Or your answers about the flow rate were about this question?
