What's dangling from that fixture? That's a little creepy ...

But that's a pretty awesome concept! You can probably build one yourself for cheaper, and the only complication is that you need to somehow manage to get two bulbs set up like that (unless, as per my other response to you, you have a 55+ gallon tank and want to use a mercury vapor bulb with ceramic fixture). Oh, and no screens for turtles!

I've been using one of those with MVBs for quite a while now and it's worked well. It's been passed down from turtle to turtle as set-ups change.

because its blocks the UVB. And UVB is crucial for turtle health and development.
