Equipment Review and Discussion :: Selling turtle setup

Various accessories and equipment discussed here.

I'm moving at the end of the month and unfortunately have to get rid of my turtle tank and setup. I thought that I would post this here for the NY metro area turtle keepers before hitting craigslist.

Every single part is custom built. I'm currently asking $350.

55 gal tank
20 gal sump filter
700 gph Mag drive pump
Solid wood stand
Wood canopy
Basking area hood
36" light fixture with extra Reptisafe 5.0 bulb.
Large dock
Filter media
All plumbing (with silencer)

does NOT include: food, cleaning supplies, plants and decor, turtle knobs

The setup is quiet, beautiful looking, easy to maintain, extremely powerful, and built specifically for turtles. It makes me sad to get rid of it. I'm in Fort Lee, NJ right by the GWB. This equipment is worth driving to get :)

p.s. I didn't know where to post this, sorry if it's in the wrong place.

A custom built durso standpipe overflow. Adjustable flow rates.

Tank has been *much* quieter since it was installed.

Just for the record, it's usually not ok to sell something through this site.

The dock is made of a sheet of acrylic that was heated in the oven and bent. Then we attached a 'terrarium carpet' onto the acrylic surface using velcro.

Also, I'm sorry for posting an item for sale but when I read through the rules I didn't see anything prohibiting such postings. I won't do it again :)
