any idea why it would work then once it has been primed and is running if air is getting in on the suction side??....and if this is the case, any idea how to find out where the air is coming into the system??

if thats the case, a system of checking your all the seals from the intake side would be your best bet. where the tubing connects, etc.

im having the same problem with my XP4, so frustrating, i am gonna try what Steve suggested by emptying the canister and leaving latch open and filling the prime inlet.

it was making me so angry, i gave up and rested.
after 15 min. i repeated all priming steps and it worked.

i forgot the "WAIT 2 MINUTES" part on the instruction manual.
after you fill the tube and shut the lever, wait for 2-5 minutes, then plug it.

it might work, it just did for me. FINALLY.
