Anyone use this thing, I bought it about a month ago but just got around to finally setting it up. Anyway, I plugged it in yesterday around 8pm EST and it's first schedualed feed time was set for 4pm EST today. Anyway, it didn't feed like it was supposed to. So, I went back to the instructions and it says that the first feeding might not happen or happen late but every feeding therafter would work just fine or something along those lines.

Well, I'm curious about everyone elses experiences with this feeder assuming anyone else uses it. I only bought the thing because sometimes I get back late after lgihts out or feed Niko late so I suppsoe you could say I bought it as an insurance policy heh.

And then there's this...

3.3 Time Adjustment
Turn the ring 'B' in the direction of the arrow until the current time is opposite the marking triangle 'C' (6.00 pm = 18.00).

Now why the hell would I have to put the marking triangle at 8am if the current time is 8pm ?

If thats the case then I guess I set it up wrong since I put the marking triangle at 8pm when it was in fact 8pm yesterday.

Edit: Can someone take a picture of how they have their feeding triggers set, the instruction booklet makes it sould liek I did it wrong but there's only one way to set them.

im not helpful hear but i heard those things are useless. just saying

Useless for feeding fish sure since it dumps all the food at once but for a turtle its perfect since you can auto feed for 28 straight days.

Like I said, I only bought it because sometimes I forget to feed and feed late or forget to feed all together all be it rare when I forget to feed at all.

This post can be ignoed, it appears the unit does indeed work just fine. The manual said the first feeding might not happen or happen late but the next ones to follow will be ok. Well, theyre right so im good ;-)
