Equipment Review and Discussion :: XP2 and XP3 prices

I am using an XP3 on my 75 gallon turtle tank and am considering getting an XP2 for my 40 gallon African Clawed Frog tank.

I bought the XP3 about 2 1/2 years ago and paid 89.99 from Big Al's (granted a very big bargain).

I just priced an XP2 and it's 129.99.

Is that the going rate or can I find one cheaper?

I hate to spend $40 more for a smaller filter.

Also, are the XP2 and XP3 the same size. I already have lots of extra foams etc... and would like to use them instead of buying new ones. The only thing I don't have is the ceramic rings.

They didn't have any XP2's available and I didn't want an XP3
