Is this heater any good? i was shocked at how cheap it was. I am trying to buy quality products at good prices just wondering if this was a solid heater?

I know a few are using their basking platform and filters, not sure about heaters. I'd guess they are OK, but fortunately, good heaters aren't that expensive.

Don't do it. Years ago (they're still making the Guardian?) I bought two of them at a Petco on sale. The original price was something like $35 each and they were on clearance for something like $7.50 each. One worked briefly then stopped. The other one still works (I'm assuming---it's been in a box for a while now), but when it goes on, there's a wierd clicking sound. I did like the holders for them, though.

Just curious, how cheap are they selling them for?

I'd get an Ebo-Jager if I were you.

I have a Hydor. It worked well for a while, but the thermostat became stuck and now when I plug it in, it goes on and stays on (no regulating the temp). I use it with another heater to heat the water after a water change.
