i just bought repti glo 5.0 13w..
what's the differrence between 13w and 26w?
is it ok if i'm using 13w?

Theres no difference, its just different wattage for what lamp its going into. Not all lamps cans take the same wattage.

The 5.0 bulb will be stronger. It's what I use because it will not have to be as close to the tank and I think is bigger too, but I'm not 100% on that.

Only difference I can see would be a 26watt gives the uv a slightly wider range. Ex. Your bulb gives an area effect the width of an orange and 26watt might give an area effect of a grapefruit.

Now that is just my guess so dont hold me to that, but as long as your turtle basks directly under the light your good with your bulb. Of coarse it could be just the simple answer is some lamps cant ise a bulb with that much wattage.

I did try searching for you and found no true answer. Only found one where person had a lamp where it could not take a 26watt but i would still imagine the bigger the wattage the bigger the area effect is.
