Pellet Patrol
Posted: Thu Apr 19, 2007 7:46 pmWhenever I feed my turtles pellets My one turtle eats his pellets whole not even biting them in half.Even sometimes 2 or 3 at a time.Is that healthy for them?

Posted: Sat Apr 21, 2007 2:16 pmRegarding size of the pellets, if you're talking about regular size Reptomin (which are long and thin), for smaller turts, I break them in half (and then they do gulp them down). They have no problem gulping down pellets that are round and smaller than Reptomin (Mazuri, for example), whether they're meant for hatchlings or older turtles.
