How often should I feed my turtle the reosie red minnows?
How many at a time?
What if she doesn't eat it right away or for a few days? Should I feed her veggies and pellets to?

I don't always have minnows in the tank for my turtle to eat, when i do i usually buy 5 at a time. You should always offer veggies, and if you notice she has eaten a minnow maybe skip the pellets for that day.

Veggies and pellets should ALWAYS be given, especially pellets (staple food). You can offer a couple of rosie reds (4 is okay IMO) once a month or so, if she doesnt eat all of them right away i wouldnt worry. Sooner or later they will be dinner..

Usually whenever I go to the pet store, I get some feeder fish, sometimes up to a dozen if it has been a few months since I got some feeder fish. I think a dozen a month is usually the max, however. It's a lot of protein so they should be fed in moderation.

Okay so I should put 3-4 minnows but keep an eye out and skip a pellet if shes eaten one but if she hasn't keep on with regular feeding. Right? Thanks everyone!
