Feeding and Nutrition :: Romane Lettuce

How much romane is too much, I am giving Myah one leaf of romane lettuce every day, she gets pellets every other day. Is this to much lettuce, she eats evey last bit of the lettuce.

I believe the concensus with lettuce is that it's okay until your turtle has loose stools. Then you have crossed the lettuce threshold. You might want to mix some red leaf and green leaf in there too. It's very good for the kids, and I would guess it might be a little easier on the GI tract as it has less cellulose than Romaine. Which means she can probably have more of those types than Romaine.
