An aquaintence of mine said she had a friend that had a female RES turtle breaking the record at 18 inches shell length. She said that she fed her turtle all kinds of stuff including pinky mice (newborn mice with out hair). Does anyone know is this ok? Is is bad/good for them. Either way? I know baby snakes eat them and they are reptiles like turtles...So my guess is it would be ok....but maybe hardr to feed then an earthworm...that is not as sad. Thanks.

Some people do. I would think it would be rather messy.
