Feeding and Nutrition :: Red Leaf lettuce.. is this it??

Hi guys.. and girls.
I live in Quebec, Canada.. and almost everything is in french here.. When I asked about red leaf lettuce and dandelion leaves.. nobody could help me at the supermarket.. it seems the blame is not because they're french, but maybe stupid as well.. I mean they work in fruits and veggies and couldn't help me. So I simply got what seemed to be Red leaf lettuce to my logic.. as it is lettuce with somewhat of red leaves. Could someone confirm from the picture if this is it? And if anybody knows the translation for dandelion leaves, that would be great..

Looks like red leaf lettuce to me. Is it bitter? There's no bitterness to red leaf lettuce. Some of the others with red in the leaves, though, like Kale, are bitter.

It looks lik red Leaf. If the leafs are green with red fringes at the tp, I'd say you found it.

Dandelion in french is pissenlit. This is a very interesting article, and I think it mentions a few other names for dandelion.

he absolutely hates it.. I palyed around with him, as if the piece of lettuce was a fish.. I got him to take a full bite which he spat back out. He prefers his poop to it. which I had tuna to dip the piece of lettuce in it so he could eat it. I will get some tuna tomorrow and try again.
