Do you guys feed your turtles in a smaller feeding tank? Would this help keep it cleaner and make full water changes less of a habit?

What about cuttle/turtle bones..should i toss em in the big tank or a feeding tank? I always figured I would drop in a veggie during the day and dump in a few pellets at night but i have seen a lot of you guys feed them in a seperate tank...

I use the tank water to fill it up enough to cover my turtle and empty it everyday. That way I know the water temp is good.

The feeding tank is helpful if your turtle poops shortly after eating and doesn't get stressed when handled. I don't use a feeder tank because my turtle doesn't poop right after eating. I've watched him and sometimes its more than an hour after eating before he poops. Since he stresses out so much if he's handled, I just feed him in his tank.
