does anyone elses do this? im very very afraid that i am not feeding them enough, they are both about 2.5 inch babies and i feed them about 5 pellots each a day (one serving in the morning and thats it)and then they snack on floating kale greens all day long, which they devour by the end of the day. I give them each a treat once a week to either a cricket or a meal worm. I am desperately afraid of overfeeding them. But I feel bad, they are always hungry!

Hehe! Most of the turtles that are healthy like to beg! The amount you are feeding sounds about right, although you should give them a bit more variety as far as the veggies are concerned. Don't give in to giving them a bunch of extras - as long as you are only giving them the amount of pellets that would fit in their head if it was hollow and a good variety of veggies you should be fine. A cricket, meal worm, a piece of fruit, or feeder fish once or twice a month for a treat is okay. Check the stickies on top for ideas on what and what not to feed them if you have not already. My 2 inch Donatello begs every time I come up to his container!

Yeah it looks like you're feeding them the right amount, the only thing I would add is to have some cuttlebone floating in their tank. But otherwise it seems like normal begging behavior.

Mine like to go between begging, and thinking I'm going to eat them and swimming swiftly for cover.

They are professional beggars.
