I've been using this blue container, its about medium size. Just wanted to know if it's ok to feed them in this separately or do I need a bigger container thats not a soild color.

Several people use dishpans, so I'm guess that what you have is ok. The color doesn't matter. The container needs to be big enough to move around in and fill with enough water that your turt can right himself if he should flip over.

I just use a dishpan. When they are eating, size/color of the container doesn't matter too much as long as they can turn around to get to the food. Even my adult RES does just fine in a dishpan when she is eating.

what would you suggest doing for someone who has 2 RES's... If i were to feed them in a separate container, then would i do one at a time? or how would you suggest it?

I would suggest one at a time. Thats what I plan on doing with my two RES's cause one gobbles up all the food before the other one can get any.

i tried that last night, and the second one didnt seem to enjoy it, more wanted to go back "home"... to bad home is going from a 10 gal tank to a 55 today i hope... i just need to find the moivation after working from 5pm last night till 6am today, and then having to go back to work at 8am... A little under 2 hours of sleep... but ok, the turtles will love me for it.

Actually, a light-colored container shows a better contrast with the food, and would make it easier for them to see. I use a white dishpan. You don't need a lot of depth. I just have the water covering the shell so my RES can grab the food and eat it easily.
