Its been almost 3 days and my RES still hasn't touched he's carrots or strawberries. I don't get it. He is being so stubborn. What should I do? I don't want to starve the little guy. I also gave him some melon, and he wont eat that either.

Maybe its because your turtle doesn't like sweet foods, you can try one of the greens that are in the sticky thread to see if they like them better.

Oh! So that's why my Tanner will not eat any fruit, not even tomatoes!

My turtle won't eat anything sweet except fresh figs - and only a little of that.

Well its been almost a week without reptomin. I've put some romain in his tank and he eats it thorough out the day. he didn't like the sweet potato, apples or grapes. My fiance says I should just give him his reptomin, but she don't understand thats not all he should eat. Is it too long of time that he should be off the turtle food?

You could try soaking small pieces of the carrots, strawberries and melon in something smelly like tuna or sardine juice. How are you preparing the carrots? If you make long thin peels that look like worms, he may be more apt to try them.

If he absolutely won't eat those foods, try something else. Try them again at a later date. Sometimes what they won't eat at first, they may eat at another time.
