I'm new at this turtle stuff...I am taking care of my little boy's 2 RES while he's away...we just got them about 3 months ago...they were about an inch or so...but one of them has doubled in size and the other seems to have hardly grown...is it just because one eats more than the other? I've been trying to seperate them when they eat because now the bigger one is more dominant...do they just grow at different rates? The little one eats, just not as much...thanks!!

Could be that the larger one is getting most of the food. Try feeding separately for a while to make sure the smaller one is getting his fair share and see what happens.

They can grow at different rates, but it sounds like one is getting more of the food than the other (if they were fed equally and one grew more, you'd know it was more likely a growth rate issue).

Put the piggy in a container of water (like a dishpan) and feed him there and feed the smaller one in the tank.

Mine are the same, one is way bigger then the other, and I have been feeding them in separate containers from the get go?
