Have they seen them? Could it be that they can't catch them? Some of my guppies are too quick for my turts, especially the guppies that are smaller.

There isn't anyway to slow them down. Your turtles will eventually figure it out, and your fish with get to know the turtles and let their guard down. I really think it will just be a matter of time.

I bought 6 fish for my Zeke, and watched him all day, he chased them all day long and just wasn't fast enough....lo and behold the next morning ALL 6 fish were gone. He just had to wait for them to 'sleep' so he could catch them I guess. Now I know he likes fish, and I know not to put all of them in the tank with him at once....space em out a bit!

Not all turtles care for live fish. If yours doesn't eat the minnows, I wouldn't worry.

My turt Spot lives in a pond outside. I put 4 minnows in the pond a couple of weeks ago. Two of them disappeared right away but the other two are still going strong. And they've gotten really fast - like the speed of light! I don't think Spotty could ever catch them unless they get sick or go to sleep. So I guess now we have two pet minnows to go with our turtle!
