Has this been asked before? Do RES's like avacado or is it safe?

I wouldn't feed it. One of the first bits of advice I was given when I was first keeping turtles was that it was poisonous and not to give it. I've never read this in the literature, but I have since read that avocado is poisonous to tortoises. I would play it safe and assume that this holds for turtles as well.

Yeah, there are so many other good things you can give them, why risk it?
