In the sticky it says don't feed your RES beans, but does that mean beans like brown beans, etc? I'm wondering if Green (or yellow) beans would be OK? Either fresh or cooked? Usually it's not the actual bean you eat, it's the casing.
Also, I found this site with the nutritional value of green beans, but I'm not sure how to interpret it for a RES. Something about the calcium/phosphorus ratio?

I was thinking "beans" in general aren't good. Not sure if there's a difference between the different kinds. But it's under the not to feed since it can cause gout. It's not a chance that you want to take. Maybe someone else can shed light on it for sure.

*ahem* I should have done a search before I posted. Sorry I found a couple posts saying it's ok to do green beans in moderation I think being fed anything too much can cause problems, but little bits now and then are OK

Green beans are good. You can buy frozen ones and just thaw a few at a time.
