I have a new member of the family, Tuck, a red-eared slider turtle, and I get him last night and so far he hasn't eaten, I read in past forums, that he might be streesed from the move from store to home and may not eat for a couple days.....Just wanted to make sure that he's ok ..... he's been moving about his habitat, last night he was all over it, on the rock oof the rock, today he really hasn't been moving around so much, staying to one corner of tank.....is everything ok?

Probably just getting used to his new home. Keep offering food and he'll eat eventually.

Aside from adjusting, make sure the temps are good and give him some privacy when he's got food to eat.

When we first got our turtles and they wouldn't eat. I was told to get some blood worms (because they are a smelly food). They sell them in the fish section at wal-mart. Just something to think about in case it does not start eating.

Oh yeah I forgot to add that after they start eating the blood worms start trying to feed he/she its regular food and then only use the blood worms as a once in a while treat.
