I'm having some trouble with feeding my turtles in an separate container. My turtles absolutely hate being out of their tank, so when I put them in a feeding container with a little water, they refuse to eat. I wait about an hour before giving up and returning them to their tank and I've tried this multiple times with no success.

Does anyone know some tips and tricks to get them eating in a feeding container?

Thank you for your response!

It usually takes a little time for them to get adjusted. Why do you want to use a feeding container?

If you are worried about keeping the water cleaner, I wouldn't worry about it if you have a good filter.

I used to feed mine in a separate container. It did take them a few days to adjust. I've since stopped because it was a whole lot of extra work for little gain. If you have to, just be patient and consistent.
