rasco is stuck on pellets ....

The first thing I ever fed rasco was lettuce which he ate, but now after a week 5 days in a a row i feed him pellets now he wont eat anything else =/. the guy at the petsmart said my turtle is way to small to eat rosey red's, but rasco is like a 1 1/2 so iunno. what should i do ><

Most hatchlings do eat more protein than veggies.. so that's not unusual. How many pellets are you feeding him? You could offer the veggies along with some pellets and see what happens

My turtles always have some veggies and lettuce thrown in their tank and if they get hungry enough, they'll munch on that...and since they don't get pellets more then once a day they're always hungry

i give him like 4 pellets which i break in half so it can fit in his mouth, ya i tried but he still wont eat
