There's info on this if you look...Up to a year of age, feed daily. For turtle pellets, give a head-size amount to each (and make sure each gets their fair share--you might want to feed them separately if one is hogging the food). I feed my turtles earlier in the day (am) rather than later (evening). You can (and should) rotate with other foods (look at the list for what to give in the Feeding Information). After a year, feed pellets every other day, a bit less often if your turtles seem to be growing too fast.
You can offer some vegetable matter daily (again, look at the list). They probably won't be interested in veggies if they're really young, but it's good to introduce them to them. They may even surprise you.
You measure your turtles from the scute in back of the head down the spine to the end of the scutes above the tail and don't include the curve of the shell. This is called the Straight Carapace Length (SCL). Based on what you wrote, I'm not sure how big your turtles are (and there's a big difference between 2 and 4 inches).
