Has anyone done a pellet comparison?
You buy dog food and they tell you on the side of the bag what all is in it and what percentage are protein, fat, fiber, etc.
Has anyone done the same for pellets?

This page is very anecdotal, but worth reading if you're interested:

Good to know. What do you plan on using? I currently use Omega One, Mazuri and Hikari wheat germ.

The Omega One pellets showed up in the mail today, they are tiny. I am going to have to make him a feeding tray...

This is the koi one. Supposedly it helps with scute shedding but I'm a bit skeptical since there is no proof. Regardless, it's a good pellet and good for variety.
tjurhs - how big is your turtle?

Thor is 2.25 inches from the front of his shell to the back of it. My daughter caught him in the lake 2+ years ago, and back then he was a little less than 1 inch long

How does he like the Omega One? The regular sized ones are pretty crunchy, maybe the juvie version will suit him better.

the juvie version are really small, maybe 1/16 inch round. he's never had a problem eating pellets. I wet down his "feeding tray so they are sure to dtick to them and then he cobbles them up
at 2+ years isn't 2.25inches pretty small?
maybe I'm underfeeding him?

That's good to hear. If the shell is in good shape, then everything should be fine.
