How do I know if my cutie is getting fat?

I have two map turtles (a boy and a girl). The boy, Leo, is definitely a normal weight. The girl, Scarlet, however, is a little bigger. I can't tell if she's fat or if she's a healthy weight. I've heard that female turtles are often a little more chubby. How can I tell that she's healthy?
