What kind of turtles are they? Those tanks look too small with not enough water. Feed them every other day... The amount of food that will fill their head if it were hollow. Do you have filters?

First, it looks like the heaters are out of the water. That could be very dangerous, if they are heaters, please don't plug them in. 2nd gravel must go. You need more water, but you will also need filtration. You also need basking and UVB lights. How big is that tank on the left?

Take a look here on pellets: http://www.redearslider.com/pellets.html (you might even want to scale those recommendations back a little) and http://www.redearslider.com/plants.html

Ah, yea its a bit small for her. If you're on a budget, you might need to look to alternatives to aquariums. Also you will still need a UVB and a basking lamp. That light looks cool, but try to get a warm bulb like an incandescent.

She's eating the gravel in the aquarium. You need to remove any that is smaller than her head. She could get a blockage that could do serious damage.

The gravel is just for looks, they don't need it. I'd remove it all.

After you remove it, keep checking for more as she might eat it again.

Really need to fill both aquariums with much much more water. Technically need way bigger aquariums for both. If can't afford atm atleast fill the tanks so basking platform is raised as high as it can go till you get a bigger tank. You may need a water heater and you definitely need a basking light even a normal lightbulb gives off heat if it's close enough. Turtles must get out of water and beable to dry off under heat. Also need a UVB bulb for proper health.

Without a filter you'd have to change water ever couple of days and apply water conditioner each time

Turtle are expensive to start up but once properly setup are low cost.

Buying the right size for adult to start is always best option.

Sorry lots of input but a lot of people don't realize that tiny turtle some a$$hole selling on a street shop is very costly and require a lot of effort
