not eating and a white spots on shell

I bought 2 red eared sliders just a couple of weeks ago. The smaller one use to love food and is occasionally keeps looking for some. However, recently, it hasn't been eating for 2 days. Also, I noticed a big white spot and some smaller ones on its shell. Any ideas? Is this serious? :?

I'm always so nervous about my turtles. Don't think I should be always scared but I can't help it.

Below is a picture of the turtle and you can see the white spot.

I don't see an attached pic. Can you give more details about the turtle... size? How about what you've been feeding? What are the water temps?

Update: It keeps basking. It hasn't ate either. I'm really getting worried...
Right now its sleeping and the bigger turtle is also basking on top of him.

I've been feeding it Zoo-Med pellets. I tried carrots but it wouldn't even look at it.

Do his eyes open at all? Are you using a UVB lamp? You might need to separate them until this is sorted out.

His eyes just opened...and I don't have a separate tank...
But then just now both of their eyes just closed again.... aren't they just sleeping? I'm using a basking light. The big one has dry eyes from basking.. is this normal?

Sorry for all these questions and thank you so much.

I separated the turtles. I also found out that the smaller one has been pooping some white stuff. It's like two white circular thing connected to a small brown thing. It's really weird. Any ideas...?

That doesn't sound normal, is there a pic of it? Are you certain he was eating before? What kind/brand of light are you using?

Update: It slept all day on a floating rock and when put my ear next to the tank, I heard bubbling noises... I'm so worried. I think it might die. I don't know what to do.

It might be worth it for a vet to check him out. Try giving him in a soak in a small container. 50% Pedialyte and 50% water. Add in some crumbled pellets for him to try to drink.

Do you have any idea of what kind of a sickness this turtle has? But when I researched about Pedialyte, it says its something for a child who has diarrhea... I don't think my turtle has diarrhea. Sorry for being like this, I am really stressed out right now.

Thank you so much for replying! I really appreciate it.

There is not enough information for me to go on. Many turtles, especially hatchings are already sick when you buy them. It's possible thats the situation here.

I found it dead this morning... probably going to hike up the mountain to bury it later. Thanks for all your help though.
