Hi guys,

I know the following list of aquatic plants are on the "ok to feed list"

but are there any detriments/problems growing or feeding them to my RES?

and likewise, are there any specific benefits to growing or feeding one over the other?

Amazon Sword
Frogbit
Hornwort
Water Fern
Water Milfoil
Anubias

btw, I grow my plants in a seperate tank that has no livestock other than snails.

Thanks, Todd

I'd say if you compare it to this list

You're in good shape, with the possible exception of anubias. I could be wrong, but I think I've read where anubias is poisonous to some animals.

I would shy away from feeding amazon sword and anubias. They are both pretty tough leaved plants.
I would add duckweed to the list.
