This is kind odd and tricky.

So we have two red eared slider, Mertyle and Koopa. They're about about a year and half year old. They are about 6 inches width?! Anyways, this happened since August. My partner and I left and went to Ottawa for a week to see family. I had my landlord feeding them pellets. Yeah, I should of told him veggies but I didn't want him to go in my fridge or give him the wrong stuff. Anyways, we had this automatic fish feeder which gave them pellets. When we came back, they refused eating pellets for about a week which is unusual I guess. After that week, Mertyle refused to eat any veggies. I tried everything: Turtle Jello Shots, soaking in tuna water, tough love, etc. Nothing works!! Koopa on the other hand, also refused to eat his veggies except for Jello shots, he goes crazy for it. During the tough love which we tried to offer only lettuce for about 2 weeks. After the first week, Koopa ate some and than stop after the 2nd week. Pleas help!

Sorry I forgot to mentioned that the water temp is always at 80 degrees and the basking spot is at 90

What kind of veggies are you using? What are they eating now?

We tried carrots, sweet potato, Lettuce (red tip and green one), collard, kale, squash, zucchini, etc.

Right now they are eating pellets and well Koopa eats his jello shot.. and whenever I put lettuce, basically they refused it.

In the Jello shot: we pureed blueberries, sweet potato, carrots, kale, apple skin, tuna water and obviously gelatin

Have you tried using a veggie clip? You'll be able to keep lettuce in there for the whole day and let them nibble it when they feel like it.

Unfortunately we already tried this method before. It only work for temporary amount of time (at least a week)

I could try it again.

He was. I do recalled he used to like lettuce and some sweet potatoes. He never touch carrots until he saw Koopa eating it.

Good news, I got them to eat carrots. I soaked it in tuna water. It worked for awhile until I heated it a bit and than not so much lol but heey it work!

Depends for me. One of them refused any vegetables for awhile but he used to like sweet potato and lettuce. The other one would only eat jello shots and occasional carrots and lettuce if hes hungry enough and now they both refused everything except for Koopa (the one that liked Jello shots) actually still eat the jello shots.. I tricked them this morning with tuna water! MWHAAHAHAHA

LOL me too. Its tough to have multiple turtles in the same tank with different eating preferences/habits.
