Feeding and Nutrition :: Not sure this goes here but...

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

So.... I caught Sheldon eating his poo on Monday and then I caught him doing it again today. Now I keep a watchful eye on the tank so that I may scoop but appearently he's cleaning up after himself. Is this normal? Do I need to be concerned?

Good gravy. Well all right. I mean it didn't look like he enjoyed it but still *barf*

My first reaction was to yell at him like he was my dog... lol

For a while I thought my turtle didn't poop. Then I realized what was happening (thanks to these forums). I was more diligent with the tank cleaning after that.
What's especially gross is when they eat each others' poop. Because, ew.
