Feeding and Nutrition :: I'm confused about something

In regards to powdered supplements, how exactly are those supposed to be effective if your supposed to feed in water, won't it just come off the food the minute you place it in the tank?

Hi. What I do is moisten the pellets with some water then sprinkle with the powdered supplements so the powder would stick to the pellet. It does come off as soon as it is placed in the water. So what I do is drop the pellets sprinkled with the supplement one at a time so the turtles get to eat it at once and only a bit of the powder will come off. Or you can include the supplement in the jello shot if your feeding this.
