Broccoli?

Greetings, Turtle Lovers!

I always keep bags of Broccoli Slaw Mix - consisting of shredded little sticks of broccoli, carrots, and red cabbage - on hand in the fridge because I eat it a lot and Speedy LOVES those little carrot pieces. I recall reading somewhere that cabbage isn't the greatest for turts, unless my memory is proving faulty (not a rare occurrence these days :D )but I was wondering about the broccoli sticks? Sorry if it has been previously posted somewhere...I did a brief forum scan and couldn't find it. Your input would be appreciated.

On another note, I have created a monster by allowing Speedy to hang out in kiddie pools in various places outside since the weather has been nice. None in direct sunlight, don't worry! She also comes with me in a tote when we go down to the creek to swim or whatever. When I put her back in the house, she is NOT a happy turtle. She paddles against the side of her tank furiously trying to get my attention. She always settles back down in a few minutes, and that is the only time she ever does it. Sorta funny to me:)

Still need to post new pics, been lazy lately

Peace,

Cheryl
