So when you feed your RES blueberries, do you cut the skin off of them? I gave some to Angelina for the first time the other night. She loved them, but it appeared she left all the skin behind. It was floating in the water. If I take the skin off, am I getting rid of the most nutritious part?

I'm making jello shots tomorrow so I need to know about this too. Great question.

I left the skin on when I made my batch of jello shots, not sure if that is ideal or not.

Skin should be fine, I think there is a lot of nutrition there. I do remove the seeds though.

Yea, I'd like to leave it on (much easier), but the first time I fed them to her she ate the meat of the berry and left the skin. Then the skin was floating all along the bottom until the filter could pick it all up. Maybe I'll put her in her travel thing when I want to feed her blueberries. Then I can just dump that water when she's finished.

I gave the jello shots a try with full blueberries. A little disappointed as Sheldon seemed interested at first and then not so much. :(
