HELLO GUYS.

SORRY IF THIS IS A QUESTION WHICH HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN ANSWERED, BUT I COULDNT FIND ANY RELATED ANSWERS TO MY QUESTION.

MY QUESTION IS THAT I HAVE A RES TURTLE ABOUT SIZE OF 2 INCHES FROM HEAD TO TAIL AND HE EATS ONLY STICKS TILL NOW ( ONLY 3 MONTH OLD ). MY MAIN CONCERN IS THAT HE EATS ONLY 1 AND A HALF STICKS IN ONE DAY. THE SIZE OF ONE STICK IS AROUND 0.5 INCH IN LENGHT AND QUARTER INCH IN WIDTH. SO IS THIS NORMAL OR SHOULD HE EAT MORE LIKE 5 TO 6 STICKS A DAY. THANKS FOR UR TIME :)

... experienced keepers calls for the amount of pellets to be in proportion to the size of their heads (excluding their necks).

If you are overfeeding your turtle, it will look your turtle's body is too big for its shell.

I always do feed them as much as they want till they hit 3inches then slow it down. Turtle end up with pretty much perfect shells the way I do it.
