They can eat them but not as a staple really, they don't offer much in the way of nutrients besides iron and protein. I have dried blood worms for my fish, and sometimes my turtle takes a chomp at them, but they're not substantial enough to catch his attention.

Treat only. A staple diet should consist of at least a quality pellet and fresh greens.

What about live bloodworms? My turtles would happily eat them, but I'm not sure if they're more nutritious than freeze-dried ones.
